Nexus Reopens for 2027: Four Places for Our Next Cohort

Nexus, our club-wide development programme, is taking a new cohort. There are four places for existing club customers, the programme runs for 10 months from December 2026 to September 2027, and applications close on 30 November.

What is Nexus?

Nexus is a complete system for club, coach and player development. It connects a club's philosophy, its game model and its coaching into one continuous process, so every age group and every coach is working towards the same identity.

It isn't a template. Each club's Nexus is built from its own values, culture and expertise. You can read the full explainer in Nexus: Where Philosophy, Methodology, and People Connect.

The 10 months

Clubs work through five phases with TCM's wider team, from December 2026 to September 2027:

  1. Discovery and audit: a review of your current systems, people and philosophy using our TEACUP audit (Technical, Environment, Attitude, Culture, Understanding, People).
  2. Define your philosophy: your club's core values and playing identity, the foundation for every decision that follows.
  3. Game model development: turning that philosophy into a practical blueprint for how your teams play, train and behave.
  4. Methodology implementation: curricula, session design and coach education that bring the game model into everyday training.
  5. Monitoring and growth: reviews, dashboards and evaluation tools that keep the whole club aligned and improving.

Running alongside it all is the VMOST framework (Vision, Mission, Objectives, Strategy, Tactics), which gives executives, directors, coaches and players a shared language.

Clubs already on the Nexus journey

Nexus clubs include PYSL Blast, the volunteer-run community club in San Diego, and Greenisland in Northern Ireland. The 2027 cohort will join them.
